With its IP 66 certification, the cable is protected against dust and strong water jets, making it ideal for charging your electric car in all weather conditions. The charging cable is suitable for all modern vehicles with a Type 2 connector, including AUDI, BMW, Hyundai, KIA, Mercedes, Porsche, Seat, Skoda, Tesla, Volkswagen, and Volvo. The charging cable connectors are silver-plated, ensuring good contact. The 3-phase cable is made of TPE material, which offers good resistance to oil and UV light.
The charging cable is monitored by bidirectional communication, which means that data is exchanged between the vehicle and the charger. Before charging begins, a self-test is performed to ensure the cable is properly connected and the car can be charged.
Furthermore, a mechanical lock secures the charging cable, protecting against theft and unauthorized use. After charging, first disconnect the charging cable from the Type 2 connector on your vehicle. The cable must not be repaired or spliced, as this may compromise its safety and functionality.
